Mark-Making and Rust

Recording of our mini-workshop

Mark-making is an excellent tool to help us reconnect to the creative flow when we feel stuck, and much like identifying goals to begin with, mark-making can be the first step in the process of creating a work of art.

But have you ever tried it with rust?

Today’s post is the recording of our mini mark-making and rust workshop, which was live during Tuesday’s group members hangout time.

The Deeper Connection members enjoy six live hangouts per month, ongoing prerecorded course lessons, and other exclusive perks. To become a member, consider subscribing or upgrading at the paid monthly or annual subscription levels today.

We began with some great conversation, questions, and a look at a recommended reading list if you’re interested in diving into the art of Mark-Making further.

I continued to play with the materials and techniques long after the camera was turned off as did many of the participants. The workshop resonated with and inspired everyone so much, that we continued our conversation about it the next day during Wednesday’s group hangout, pushing our discussion about a potential collaboration to the end of the hangout and we decided to continue ironing out the details about the collaboration project at our first hangout on September’s schedule.

Reading list and supply list are below. Enjoy the workshop!
